Pastoral Search Committee Named
At the direction of our by-laws, Board Chairperson Lisa Stoneking recommended a Pastoral Search Committee, which the Board reviewed and approved at their meeting on June 24.
The Pastoral Search Committee includes the following members: Linda Curtner, Claude McWhirter, Melissa Carter, Duane Cole, Jeff Peppers, Lori Watkins, and Lisa Stoneking, ex officio member.
This Committee will work with Florida Disciples Regional Minister Betsy Goehrig to develop a Congregational Profile, involve the congregation in a strategic planning process, review candidates for ministry, and recommend a candidate to the Board and congregation.
This is a time-intensive process. Our Interim Minister, Rev. Rick Hull, is committed to be with us until at least the end of 2018.
