DESCRIPTION:What is the SERF 2020 Women’s Event? \nIt is a gathering for women of the Southeastern Regional Fellowship of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) which includes the Regions of Alabama/Northwest Florida\, Florida\, Georgia\, Kentucky\, North Carolina\, South Carolina\, Tennessee\, and Virginia. \nThe Women’s Event will include: \n\nFellowship with Disciples Sisters\nInspiring Keynote Speakers\, including:\n\nRev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens\, General Minister and President of our denomination\nRev. Dr. Cynthia L. Hale\, Founder and Senior Pastor of Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur\, GA\n\n\nInformative Workshops\nStories from International Sisters\nDynamic Worship and Music\nExhibits and Ten Thousand Villages Shopping\nDelicious Meals\nFUN! FUN! FUN!\n\nTheme: “Shout from the Hills” \nSisters will come together for inspiration to proclaim with joy the goodness\, mercy\, and justice of God. \nCost: $75 registration until February 18\, then $100 registration. Does not include housing or meals. \nIf you’re interested in riding with women from Florida\, there is a bus leaving from The Retreat at Silver Springs. Space is available for the first 20 women to sign up. Contact the Retreat for information.
